Bookkeeping Sky, LLC (“Bookkeeping Sky”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
This policy covers this website only. If you become a client, the handling of your financial records and accounting data is governed by the engagement agreement and confidentiality terms we enter into with you separately.
Information you give us
The only information this site asks for is what you type into our consultation form. That includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your business name, if you choose to provide it
- The type of help you are looking for, if you choose to select it
- The message you write to us
Please do not send account numbers, tax identification numbers, login credentials, or other sensitive financial details through this form. If we need that information later, we will collect it through a secure channel.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to serve the site, protect it from abuse, and diagnose faults.
This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics, and it does not build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation
- Understand what services you need so our response is useful
- Keep a record of our correspondence with you
- Meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not add you to a marketing list on the basis of a consultation enquiry.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate and protect this website. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to us:
- Netlify hosts the website and receives and stores consultation form submissions.
- Akismet screens form submissions for spam on Netlify's behalf.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site. Loading it means your browser requests a file from Google's servers, and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request.
- Google reCAPTCHA verifies that the consultation form is being completed by a person rather than an automated script. Google collects hardware and software information from your browser, along with your IP address, to make that assessment, and uses it to provide and improve the reCAPTCHA service. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
Consultation enquiries are retained for up to six months, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes. If an enquiry results in a client engagement, information related to that engagement is retained according to the applicable engagement agreement and legal requirements.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We limit access to enquiry data to those who need it in order to respond. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — which is why we ask you not to send sensitive financial details through the form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to provide a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to us, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. We will honor applicable privacy rights as required by law.

Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Where this site links to a third party, that organisation's own privacy practices apply to anything you do there. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
